~ About Artist ~

Jelena Dolgova Fiala studied Illustration and Fashion Design, graduated with honors, followed by further education in Central Europe. She has worked as an illustrator and art director for renowned international clients in the sectors of advertising and filmmaking. Also she was a basrelief artist for noumerous of an impotaint achitectural projects including reconstruction of Central Stadium for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

In 2023 she worked as a designer and engraver for the Austrian Mint (Coin series "Aufdirndln", weapon decoration).

​

When Jelena first visited Vienna in 2008, she was so overwhelmed by the marvellous capital city of the former Empire that she decided to stay here. The ever-growing love for the city in combination with her passion for fine fabrics led her to the idea of creating silk scarves, which are meant to be ambassadors of Vienna and its timeless beauty – so the label Jelena Fiala was born.

~ Artist Statement ~

Growing up in a family of architects, art has always been more than just a passion for me – it has been a part of my life and identity. In my artistic practice, I follow the spirit of the Viennese Secession artists by working across different mediums. This fusion of art and craftsmanship, along with a deep appreciation for detail, has strongly influenced my style and way of thinking. I love exploring new techniques and pushing boundaries to create powerful visual experiences.

My work reflects this connection by combining elegance, decorative luxury, and artistic mastery. Nature and the human form are constant sources of inspiration for me – I find an inexhaustible beauty and complexity in them, which I capture in my creations.

However, my art is not just about aesthetics; it is also about storytelling and evoking emotions.

I look forward to sharing my passion and vision with you and am open to new projects and commissions.
